MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 7:30 PM

Mayor Ceriello led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to open the Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee Williams, and called to Order by Mayor Ceriello at 7:35 pm and approved by all.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes for the October 18, 2023, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Trustee D’Angelo, Seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and approved by all.
MAYOR’S REPORT
Mayor Ceriello updated the Board on the proposed amendments to the Code and advised that amendments are still being considered, prior to formal proposal. Next, the Mayor provided an update on the progress of the renovation of Village Hall and advised that the Village is pleased with the progress. The mayor provided an update on the ongoing road projects within the Village and advised the Board of the ongoing issues before the BAC.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Trustee D’Angelo updated the Board on the state of the Village finances and budget projections. Trustee D’Angelo reported that the Villages finances were in good order and the budget projections were on target. The rise in insurance costs was discussed, specifically with regard to property, vehicle and general loss, and it was noted that the Board should continue to monitor this cost.
PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT
Trustee Williams advised that the police report was clear and that there had been no vehicle thefts in the Village.
NEW BUSINESS
Election
The Board Resolved to hold the Village’s annual election on March 19th, 2024. Two Trustee seats, currently held by Trustee Im and Trustee LiCalzi will be voted on the ballot.
Beautification of Village entrance
The Board continued consideration of the proposed beautification project on “the Hill”. Materials and costs are still being considered.
Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Celebration
The Village’s annual Christmas Tree lighting and Holiday Celebration will be held on December 3, 2023.
Motion to close the Board of Trustees Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello seconded by Trustee Williams and unanimously approved at 8:07pm.
